We ate at this place the day before we left Varenna, Italy and I wish we’d discovered it sooner. The address is Via XX Settembre 20 and the phone is 034.181.5091. The house specialty is fresh fish. And it is absolutely fabulous. The service was great, the cook came out to say hi. Very nice.

A very nice queen sized bed. Lots of extra blankets and pillows.
Two bedside tables with lights.
A nice wardrobe for hanging clothes up but not enough hangers. Hooks on the wall to hang coats. Plus a nice big dresser to put everything else away.

Love this room. You can see the huge window in the dining room/living room. A very comfortable couch that pulls out into a sofa bed. There is a comfortable chair with ottoman.
The dining room table was a good size and seated four comfortably.

The typical small but servicable kitchen. The one really nice thing is that the blue curtain you see on the left hides a huge window.
Nice gas stove with four burners. A brand new oven that constantly blew the fuse so we never did use it.

Our apartment on the second level. You can see the green plants above the stone wall.This is really nice because you are above sight level and no one can see into the apartment.
