Here’s the silk and cashmere shawl I bought at Azalea in Bellagio. It’s the perfect combination of materials. It’s not too heavy but it’s warm. I wear it often.

We walked by here everyday (before) and called it gondola alley. It was fun to see all the gondoliers and the empty, colourful gondolas. It was a good landmark to show us we were going the right way.

The Windows at Hotel Serenissima

You can see that we had two windows and a full length mirror in the room. It wasn’t a big room but it was complete with a wardrobe and bathroom with shower and one of those tubs you can sit in.

Office and Computer Area

This is a great are to the left of the entrance. The desk is built in and there’s a keyboard, computer area complete with broadband and a wireless router. There’s a small writing desk off to the side and in the back there is a window that opens.

These windows are off to the side of the front door. In the background you can see the stairs leading up to the rooftop terrace. There’s a great area to hang your clothes up, a beautiful tiled table and umbrella. There’s also a wonderful wooden chair that swings. [...]

As you enter the street door you see the stairway going up. The door you see here is for the casita - a bedroom with bathroom that is very lovely. On the left side is the entrance to apartment 2. Our apartment, number 1, is up the stairs.
